Error description

  • Formulas for virtual storage management have been introduced in
PE V2 in 2004. The values for Thread Footprint and Maximum
number of threads shall set a virtual storage budget and help
    avoid out of storage situations.
Based on a PMR 65474,075,724 from a SAP customer, the formulas
    have been updated in 2005.
Due to a new PMR 76421,766,766 in 2007, it has been requested to
restore the old formulas. Since both formulas are of benefit for
SAP and non-SAP customers, we show both formulas in reports and
the basic formula in the user interfaces.
