Error description

  • In DB2 Administration Tool, using CM Change Management to alter
    an object, and choosing option A - All relevant for REORG option
    some alter scenarios fail to produce the REORG job, leaving the
    changes requested not implemented on the underlying DB2 objects.
    .
    One example is an ALTER to change a LIMITKEY value.

    In GOC2CMF, the smart ALTER requirement is detected and added to
    the change file.  An entry in the Reorg control list is omitted.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been fixed in Object Compare Ver 7.2.  An entry
    to the Reorg control list is added, so that the REORG is added
    to the change file in GOC2CMP.
