    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY THIS PTF *
    ****************************************************************
    For V310
    1. GLOBAL filtering for Identifiers ORIGAUTH, PRIMAUTH does not
    work for instrumentation records in UNICODE (that is ZPARM
    UIFCIDS=YES)
    2. GLOBAL filtering for Identifier REQLOC does not work
    independent of UIFCIDS ZPARM setting.
    3. DB2 9 trace records can be processed by the Batch Reporter,
    even though V310 does not support DB2 V9.

    For V410
    1. GLOBAL filtering for Identifiers ORIGAUTH, PRIMAUTH does not
    work for instrumentation records in UNICODE (that is ZPARM
    UIFCIDS=YES)
    2. GLOBAL filtering for Identifier REQLOC does not work
    independent of UIFCIDS ZPARM setting.

Problem conclusion

  • For V310
    1. Code has been changes to correctly hanlde ORIGAUTH and
    PRIMAUTH identifier if ZPARM UIFCIDS=YES.
    2. Processing for Identifier REQLOC has been changed to correct
    the GLOBAL filtering problem.
    3. The Batch Reporter Processing has been changed not to report
    on DB2 9 trace records. For DB2 9 trace records message
    FPEC4015I will be displayed in the JOBSUMDD output.

    KEYWORDS : GLOBAL FILTERING REQLOC PRIMAUTH ORIGAUTH LOCATION
               UIFCIDS DB29 FPEC4015I JOBSUMDD

    For V410
    1. Code has been changes to correctly hanlde ORIGAUTH and
    PRIMAUTH identifier if ZPARM UIFCIDS=YES.
    2. Processing for Identifier REQLOC has been changed to correct
    the problem.

    KEYWORDS : GLOBAL FILTERING REQLOC PRIMAUTH ORIGAUTH LOCATION
               UIFCIDS

Temporary fix

  • Use report set local filtering.
