Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IMS users with Database Recovery Facility * * Version 3 Release 1 installed. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: While performing PITR recoveries users * * may notice a unit-of-work listed in * * the DRF report with an invalid open * * time duration. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: INSTALL CORRECTIVE SERVICE FOR APAR/PTF * **************************************************************** The "Duration of Open UOW" field in the DRF UOW Report is meant to display the time duration the UOW is identified to be opened up to the recovery time. It does not reflect an actual time. DRF erroneously attempts to convert this duration to a local timestamp.
Problem conclusion
AIDS: RIDS/UTIL RIDS/DBS DBS/UTIL DEP: NONE GEN: *** END IMS KEYWORDS *** FRXGUOW0 is changed to prevent the Open UOW duration time from being converted to a local time.
