Problem summary
Garbled sound while playing beep WAV files reported in 142JDK. The WAV files break multiple instances while playing with java audio application.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 1.4.2 SR10 (AIX) . This problem is seen due to the sleep() introduced in the audio code by defects 56747 and 36734. So we need to back out these defects and fix the original problem in an appropriate manner to avoid regression. . To obtain the fix: Install build 20070809 or later
