PK48457: REPORT OF CHANGE IN DEFAULT VALUE REVERSES FROM AND TO VALUES

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In DB2 Object Compare r710 only, the from and to values are
  reversed. CHANGES file shows correct ending value for default
  value, but the OBJECT COMPARISON REPORT section of the joblog
  shows the old and new values reversed in from and to values,
  as shown in the following:

  Compare table source(TTMT3.T3TKTHEADER) and
  target(TR1T3.T3TKTHEADER)
    Column BILLCUSTNOTIFY
      (D)Default value changed from : 0 to : N

  When OC SRC default value is 0.
  

Local fix

• None required. APPLY job is built correctly. Problem is only
  within the OC report, in joblog listing.

  In compare, report switches FROM and TO values of objects in
  reverse order.This is due to mentioning target and source
  variables in reverse order.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem is been fixed in V7.1 only.
