  • The DB2 Administration Tool does not provide masking for model
tables.

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of ADB2GEN for stored procedures and   *
*                 user defined functions with the TABLE LIKE   *
*                 parameters.                                  *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: GEN creates  model tables so that the   *
*                      CREATE statements will have tables to   *
*                      refer to. The model tables are always   *
*                      in the default database DSNDB04.        *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
The change here is to allow  masking of the DB name  so that
these model tables need not always be in DSNDB04.
Note: masking such as DBNAME: DSNDB04, OTHERDB used for this
purpose will be applied as usual to all objects,not just the
model tables.
