PK47139: CM ALC TIMESTAMP TO DATE COLUMN CHANGE REPORTED AS "NO CHANGES TO TABLE"

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Object Comparision Tool does not recognise a change
  of data type from TIMESTAMP to DATE when the change initiated
  via an ALC line command is processed via the Change Management
  function.

  Object Compare was changed to do the column changes.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed in Object Compare Ver 7.2
