  • DFR V2R2 to support the Dynamic Resource Definition (DRD) for
    the MODBLKS function which is supported by IMS Version 10
    10 Release 1.  (This excludes the support of the resource
    definition change using the "IMPORT command").

    DFR V2R2 supports the Dynamic Resource Definition (DRD) for
    MODBLKS function that was offered by IMS V10.
    
    Limitations:
     DFR cannot be used in an IMS environment in which a change was
     made to the resources of MODBLKS by an IMPORT command.

  • The following modules and a macro have been added.
    DFRCSPNA - The spanned log record process module
    DFRICTLA - The control block initialization controller
    DFRLDBDA - The database directory log processor
    DFRSPANA - The spanned log record process request macro

    The following modules and macros have been modified.
    DFRCSELA - It changed so that it might be called by the DFRICTLA
               module.
    DFRCTLA0 - The Control block initialization process was moved to
               DFRICTLA module. And The processing which calls
               DFRICTLA module was added before calling DFRLCTLA
               module.
    DFRGAL1A - The DFRICTLA module was added to the module which
               calls this module.
    DFRGRD1A - The DFRICTLA module was added to the module which
               calls this module.
    DFRIDMBA - The processing of a MODBLKS data set was deleted.
               And it changed so that it might be called by the
               DFRICTLA module.
    DFRIGOCA - The processing of a MODBLKS data set was deleted
               except for the processing which checks the format of
               the MODBLKS data set information in the record of an
               OLCSTAT data set.
    DFRIMDSA - The processing of a MODBLKS data set was deleted
               except for the processing which checks the format of
               the MODBLKS data set information in the record of a
               MODSTAT data set.
    DFRINTFA - It changed so that it might be called by the DFRICTLA
               module.
    DFRLCTLA - The IMS Version check of X'4001' log record and the
               call process of a DFRLOLCA module were moved to
               DFRICTLA module.
    DFRL595A - The completion check of processing of X'4084' log is
               deleted.
    DFRRSCDA - It was reconstructed by change of a DFRRSCA macro.
    DFRCOPYR - The 'change date' of the copyright for modules was
               changed.
    DFRRSCA  - New V-CON fields for new modules were added.
               A new RSCDSLBT field was added for the address of the
               first spanned log buffer table.
               A RSCDMODD field for the base MODBLKS DDNAME was
               deleted.

    The following sample JCLs have been replaced.
    DFRIVP1  - The comments about MODBLKS DD statement was added.
    DFRLINK  - The additional modules by this PTF was added.
