    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HD Pointer Checker (HDPC) gets ABEND0C4 *
    * in FABPHEXS CSECT in load module *
    * FABPHEXS. The data at PSW contains *
    *                      X'9180 507A' ( TM X'7A'(R5),X'80' ).    *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
The ABEND0C4 may occur when all of the following conditions are
    satisfied:
     - The HD Pointer Checker (HDPC) is called by the IMS Parallel
       Reorganization (IPR) V3R2.
     - The database reorganized by IPR has a logical relationship
       with another database.
     - The database reorganized by IPR is indexed by secondary
       index.
     - Both INDEXBLD=YES and ICTYPE=A are specified in the HPSIN
       statement of IPR,

HDPC erroneously refers to an internal control block for the
logically related database, although the control block is not
built because such a database is not checked by HDPC.

Problem conclusion

  • The module FABPHEXS has been fixed not to refer the control
    block which is not built.
