PK46168: GOC WITH SOURCE BEING ONE TABLE COMPARING TO TABLE IN CATALOG WITH INDEX AND PACKAGES CAUSES DROP OF IX BUT NO REBIND OF PKG

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User compares a Table (with on changes) to a catalog Table .
  The catalog Table has indexes and packages associated with it.
  User requests GOC options of rebind and  runstats. Once GOC
  is run the CHANGES file shows a drop of an index but no rebind
  for the packages . Drop of the index will invalidate the
  packages (invalidates invalid package ).

• Please apply the ptf when available.

• The problem has been fixed in Object Compare V7.1 and V7.2
