APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• QCF Online, either the 1.LIST or 2.FILTER function, do not
  Delete OTMA messages even if "Deleted" response appeared.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Query buffer contains only 8 bytes of   *
  *                      TMEMBER and TPIPE names. Browse         *
  *                      returns the message with all prefixes,  *
  *                      including up to 16 bytes tmember.       *

  *                      Query panels, used to list/delete       *
  *                      OTMA messages require  up to 8 bytes    *
  *                      tmember name conncatinated with '*'     *
  *                      and destination token- to find          *
  *                      messages to list/delete.                *
  *                      Browse  panels used to list/delete      *
  *                      OTMA messages require  up to 16 bytes   *
  *                      tmember name                            *
  *                      and destination token- to find          *
  *                      messages to list/delete.                *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  Programs are changed to find correct OTMA messages to be listed
  or deleted.
  From QUERY function- an '*' is conncatenated to tmember name
  after the 8 bytes and destination token is used to find the
  correct messages.
  From BROWSE function- tmember name up to 16 bytes is used.
  

Problem conclusion

• Programs are changed and the problem is fixed.
