Error description

  • The DB2 Object Comparision Tool did not apply the MASK to the
materialized data table ( MQT ) definition when building the
WSL.
.
Additional symptoms:
Unrelated defect fixed in this code for following symptoms:
.
RUNSTATS control statement missing TABLE name.
   TABLE name syntax appears as:
      "".""
resulting in generation of msgdsnu088i :
   DSNU088I    DSNUGPRZ - INVALID CHARACTER OPERAND - ""
which terminates RUNSTATS utility with rc8 rc08

1- MASK was not applied to the new MQTs added from the source.
2- Create new index for materialized query tables (mqt)  done
out of sequence.  3 -  Missing 'set current sqlid' for
materialized query table (MQT) added from the source

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The problem is fixed in DB2 Object Compare V7.1 and V7.2.
