Error description

  • In DB2 Administration Tool, using ALC to alter a column, using
UP line command to change primary key column to an IDENTITY
column by choosing type J , the first table update in Admin
session loses the input values for the IDENTITY column.
    .
Panel ADB26CTQ requires all values to be entered, but resulting
DDL does not reflect values entered for: START INCREMENT
MINVALUE MAXVALUE and NO CACHE .
    .
Resulting DDL appears to be DB2 default values:
     GENERATED BY DEFAULT AS IDENTITY
              (START WITH 1,
               INCREMENT BY 1,
               NO CYCLE, CACHE 20)
    .
Furthermore, attempting to change resulting type J object to
type I object, panel adb27c continues to reflect type J even
after the type has been changed to type I in panel ADB26CTU .
