    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
The V6.1 administrative consoles panels that display the
status of application servers, clusters, generic servers,
proxy servers, Web servers, node agents, and nodes use icons
to indicate status. The meaning of some of these icons might
be confusing to product administrators. However, the help
files for these panels do not include a picture of each icon
that might display in the status column, along with an
explanation of the status that each icon represents.

Problem conclusion

  • The help topics for the Servers > Application servers, Servers
    > Clusters, Servers > Generic servers, Servers > Proxy servers,
Servers > Web servers, System administration > Node agents, and
System administration > Nodes panels in the administrative
console have been updated in the Information Centers for
WebSphere Application Server V6.1. These help topics include a
picture of each icon that might display in their respective
status columns, along with an explanation of the status that
    each icon represents.

The help topics in the information centers contain the most
current descriptions of the fields and options that are
    available in the administrative console.

Date that information will be available to customers: The
modified information center documentation will be available
in the next update, which is scheduled to occur on or before
    June 30, 2007.
