Trace when lock resource type SKPT (Skeleton Page Table)

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Collection Name and Package Id show     *
*                      garbage in case of the locking resource *
*                      is SKPT and DB2 data is version 8 or    *
*                      higher                                  *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply this ptf                               *
****************************************************************
Collection Name and Package Id were compressed values till DB2
V7 in case of the locking resource was SKPT. They could be
decompressed. Starting with DB2 V8, the names cannot be
decompressed and cannot be shown any longer.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • PKID and COLL show now N/C in case of the locking resource
is SKPT and DB2 data is version 8 or higher
