Error description

  • In 6.0, WCM leverages DynaCache as the WCM contentCache. WCM v
    6.0 and higher no longer uses the following parameters:
    connect.xxxx.flushexpiredinterval
    connect.xxxx.writeindexinterval
    connect.xxxx.cachedir
    connect.xxxx.memcachesize
    connect.xxxx.diskcachesize

Local fix

  • WCM leverages DynaCache as the WCM contentCache
    The following cache instances are used by default:
    services/cache/iwk/session      --for the session cache
    services/cache/iwk/processing   ---for the other cache types.
    You can monitor it in the cache monitor by performing the
    following steps:
    1) Using the admin console (resources -> cache instances ->
       Servlet cache instances add the above mentioned instances
    2) Restart the server
    3) Make a request to WCM to generate the cache
    4) Check cache monitor for the WCM instances and verify the
       page(s) were cached.
