  *                  a space, tab or newline before a closing tag*

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In cases where a space, tab or newline  *
  *                      occurs before a closing tag then        *
  *                      erroneous output is seen.               *
  *                      For instance, the following tag (3      *
  *                      newlines introduced before the          *
  *                      closing tag)                            *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The Jsp parser while interpreting the custom tags does not
  account for spaces, tabs or newlines before the closing tag
  and when encountered before the closing tag the "endFound" is
  set to true due to which the hanging '>' is also displayed in
  the output
  

Problem conclusion

• The Jsp parser logic has been changed to account for
  spaces, tabs or newlines encountered before the closing tag.
  The fix for this defect has been integrated and will be o
  fficially available as a part of the next fixpacks, 6.0.2.23
  and 6.1.0.13
