Error description

  • Unable to open link from CQWeb homepage with Japanese link file
name after applying 7.0.0.1_iFix01
Steps to reproduce
1. Create a .html file with Japanese file name and save it under
 /cqweb/htdocs
2. Create a html file which includes link to the above html file
.
3. Login ClearQuest Web as super user and go to [Site Configurat
ion]?[Application Option]. Make the above html file as Homepage.
4. Logoff CQWeb and log in again. Click the link in the homepage
 and it get HTTP404 error

Problem summary


    

  • In ClearQuest Web, the client fails to open a link from the
user defined homepage when the file name contains double
byte characters from Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Fixed in ClearQuest version 7.0.0.4 and 7.0.1.3
