  • Installing PE Agent using the PE zOS dataset

2. DB2 connect level:
$ db2level
DB21085I Instance "db2lwndi" uses "32" bits and DB2 code release
.
Error recieved:
DB2 V8 is not installed on your system!
To work with IBM DB2 Performance Expert Agent you have to
install a
supported DB2 version. Please refer to the Installation and
Customization guide.
Steup will stop the installation now!

*                      To work with IBM DB2 Performance Expert *
*                      Agent you have to install a supported   *
*                      DB2 version. Please refer to the        *
*                      Installation and Customization guide.   *
*                      Setup will stop the installation now|   *

Performance Expert Agent installation stops when only
DB2 Connect is installed on the workstation.
