Error description

• When FPB Unload runs under the following conditions, it abends
  with ABENDS0C4 and ABENDU3700 with MSGFABC3700E. The ABEND0C4
  is out of FABCUR1U at x'446'.  This occurs when "change mode"
  is used to change the randomizing module and when the area
  number defined in the OLDACB library is greater than the one in
  the NEWACB library.

Problem conclusion

• Forward Fit APAR of HPFPU V2R2 PK41436.
  1. FABCUR1 calls a new randomizer defined in the NEWACB library
  when "change randomizer module mode" unloading.
  In this trouble case, the number of areas defined in the OLDACB
  library greater than the one in the NEWACB library.
  Setting the interface parameters for the user exit as an common
  process regardless of calling user exit routine,
  FABCUR1 points at out of the internal table of the area number
  defined in the OLDACB library because the number is greater than
  the largest area number defined in the NEWACB,
  and then gets S0C4 abend.
  
  FABCUR1 has modified to set the user exit interface area
  information parameters after calling the randomizer if
  randomizer must be called.
  
  2. FABCUR1 issues a new message FABC0185I once per area
  when a new randomizer randomizes a record to another area
  that is different from the original one while unloading
  with RMODTYPE=S option.
