  • A DB2 Administration Tool APAR did not address
the issues related to :nick tag :bl2rlib having two datasets
listed.
Error message issued:
 INVALID DATA SET NAME, 'xxxx.xxxx.xxx.xxxxxxxx
 INVALID DATA SET NAME, xxxx.xxxx.xxx.xxxxxxxx'
 MISSING LIBRARY NAME YOU WANT TO RUN FROM++
 MISSING PDS NAME CONTAINING THE MEMBER YOU WANT TO RUN
 F/F for r710 pk37773 and pk33763 ffpk37773 FFpk33763

Local fix

  • Remove one of the dataset names from the LIB statement:
LIB('xxxx.xxxx.xxx.xxxxxxxx xxxx.xxxx.xxx.xxxxxxxx')
becomes
LIB('xxxx.xxxx.xxx.xxxxxxxx')

When more than one library is specified on the :bl2rlib tag,
syntactical problem arise when using utilities.
