Error description
BatchCompiler is relying on the hashcodes of the ElementNSImplIn objects being unique Need to make changes in the batchcompiler to fix the problem jsp compilation failure.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM Websphere Application Server version * * 6.1 users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: JavaServer Pages (JSP) compilation * * errors seen due to hash code collisions * * in the JSP compiler. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The JSP compiler depended on hash code uniqueness of XML DOM elements during JSP translation which resulted in compilation errors ocassionally.
Problem conclusion
Code changes are done such that the JSP compiler now does not depend on hash code uniqueness. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fixpack 6.1.0.11.
