Error description

  • The data type of OCC column that is generated for Oracle 10 is m
    issing if a top-down EJB to RDB mapping is used.
    

Local fix

  • Manually set OCC column type to NUMBER(19,0)

    When creating an Oracle backend for CMP EJBs where an OCC
    column is needed, the generated OCC column in the Database
    metadata is missing a data type
    

Problem conclusion

  • The generated Oracle Database backend metadata will now map
    the OCC column to a NUMBER(19,0) data type.  The fix for this
    APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in Rational
    Application Developer v7.0.0.4 and WebSphere
    Application Server Toolkit v6.1.1.4.  Please refer to the
