PK40740: GEN COMMAND GENERATES DDL FOR ALL THE TABLES, TABLESPACES, ETC.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using the GEN command, FM 6.1 is generating DDL for the
  database, all the tablespaces, all the tables, etc. when using a
  table with multiple tablespaces defined in it.
  

Local fix

• Remove the values for db and ts in the GEN control statements,
  prior to submitting the job.
  

Problem summary

  The problem occurs when the table space in which the specified
  table is defined also contains other tables.  In this situation
  all the tables defined in the table space are listed in the GEN
  command output.
  

Problem conclusion

• File Manager has been updated to correct the problem.
