PK40136: LOG RECORDS ARE NOT SELECTED FROM INSIDE A CHECKPOINT WHEN DOINGREPROCESS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Log records are not selected from inside a checkpoint when using
  reprocess to process messages.
  In the QCF User's Guide we state that we get the messages IN and
  AFTER the checkpoint, however we only appear to get them after.
  
  Additional problem fixed:  If a SNAPQ, DUMPQ or PURGE is not
  specified, automatic checkpoint does not recognize the simple
  checkpoint as a valid checkpoint for REPROCESS and no PRISLD's
  are selected from the RECON.  The following message occurs:
  IQCA038E -No PRISLD LOGS selected from RECON listing.

  Probles fixed:
  1. Log records not extracted from inside a checkpoint used in
  REPROCESS.
  2. DBRC   is attached with  a parameter list, as
  required in latest releases.
  3. SIMPLE checkpoint is accepted to be the start checkpoint
  for REPROCESS.
  

Problem conclusion

• All programs are fixed to execute correct functions.
