PK39223: DBRC LOG SELECT RETURNS MSGIPI0513E IF PRILOG IS OLD WITH IMS V8

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DBRC log select returns error message IPI0513E if the PRILOG is
  old.  This only occurs running with IMS V8 or earlier.
  
  This is being forward fitted to IMS PA V4.1 via PK37130.

  For releases before IMS V9 IPIDBRC calls DSPURX00 iteratively to
  retrieve SLDS information adjusting the start time to an earlier
  time on each iteration until the start date is more than 78
  weeks before the FROM= date. This process is not successful in
  finding SLDS entries if an IMS Cold Start has not been performed
  in the last 78 weeks.  Note that this problem should not exist
  for IMS V9 and above with IMS PA V4.1 as the DBRC API is used.
  

Problem conclusion

• Change the limit of the iteration to 3 years.
