Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2  Admin Tool who  use Change     *
*                 Management  to change  column data types     *
*                 of tables  that generate data conversion     *
*                 errors while running ADB27AC on unloaded     *
*                 data in a WSL.                               *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Customer  changes  Char(2) data to      *
*                      Timestamp for example.Run a change      *
*                      and no msgs generated warning that      *
*                      data conversion errors existed.Run      *
*                      of WSL generates RC of 4.Old table      *
*                      dropped, recreated,  load put data      *
*                      records to discard file.                *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF.                               *

New function added.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Panel ADB2C11A (CM Analyze) added new option that will allow the
stop  of  the running of a change if the data  conversion errors
encountered in ADB27AC.
