Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool AL line command panel ADB21XA
'Alter index' does not include the PRIQTY / SECQTY fields when
moving from VCAT defined to STOGROUP defined nor does it warn
the user that a change in VCAT may cause the resource to
become unavailable REASON 00D70024.

Local fix

  • Use AL/RDEF to drop and recreate the object.

*                      when switching STORTYPE.                *

Provide a message to instruct the user to use the AL/RDEF to
drop and recreate the object when switching STORTYPE.
