  • Customer is using <!-- --> (html comments)in his jsp and had
unterminated custom tags in html comments. He requested these
comments to be ignored and not be processed by the
JSPContainer. However, this would go against the specification
which mentions that html comments are processed by the
JSPContainer and would not be ignored. If comments are to be
ignored, then java comments <%--> need to be used instead
of html comments. The customer has been informed of this and
usage of java comments instead of html comments has been
suggested as a work-around to this problem.
