APAR status

Error description

• When the size of the original ADS VSAM allocation is equal to
  the size of the expanded ADS VSAM allocation, that is, the two
  ADS's have the same DMACFBAD, if there is no SDEP defined in
  the DBD definition, OAE abends with U1026 SC57 because the
  CI RBA specified to read is outside the valid range.

  Online Area Extender Shadow expansion failed with ABEND U1026
  SC57 when the area was expanded from 'ROOT=(08701,00888)' to
  'ROOT=(08711,00898)', while the allocation size of original ADS
  and the size of expanded ADS were same, and there was no SDEP
  definition in the DBD definition. The problem was caused by the
  incorrect calculation of REORG UOW size.
  

Problem conclusion

• The macro FPXBFRO0 has been modified to correct the calculation
  of REORG UOW size.
  The module FPXBFRO8, FPXBFRO9 and FPXBFROA have been reassembled
  to include the modified FPXBFRO0.
