PK37197: GARBAGE SHOWING IN ACF2 VIOLATION MESSSAGE DUE TO QCF NOT CLEARING THE ENTIRE ENTITYX BUFFER

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An ACF2 Violation message has the RESOURCE name containing
  garbage due to QCF not clearing the entire x'44' of the
  ENTITYX buffer.  QCF clears just F'44' bytes.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Garbage showing in ACF2 violation       *
  *                      message (in resource name).             *
  *                      Resource name length is set to          *
  *                      68 bytes, the real length is 44 bytes.  *
  *                      After 44 bytes some garbage shows in    *
  *                      resource name.                          *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The programs have been changed to set up the real resource
  name length.
