PK37082: AUDIT TYPE(BIND) REPORT DOES NOT SHOW DBCS CHARACTERS IN SQL STATEMENT CORRECTLY.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The AUDIT TYPE(BIND) report does not show the DBCS characters
  in the SQL statement in QW0145TX field correctly.
  The IFCID 145 record has correct DBCS string but the shift-out
  (X'0E') and shift-in (X'0F') bytes are replaced with blanks
  by DB2PE and the DBCS characters become garbage.

  Our user checked the SQL call by using DB2PE Audit trace.
  But, AUdit trace output produced incorrect DBCS data.
  We compared the SMF data and AUdit trace output.
  SMF data have SOSI character, but Audit trace output have not
  contained SOSI character.SOSI character was translated to x'40'.
  

Problem conclusion
