  • IMS PA Monitor VSAM Buffer Pool report gives incorrect results,
including START values higher than END values, in addition some
results may be truncated.
Values in excess of 2Gb (2147483648) are not handled correctly
and are displayed in complement format.  A maximum of 9 digits
is displayed, which may result in truncation of large numbers.

is displayed, which may result in truncation of large numbers.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Correctly process numbers in excess of 2Gb, increase reported
field length from 9 to 10 digits.
