Error description

• From panel 1.LIST, OTMA messages with longer TMEMBER destination
  names ( greater then 8 bytes ) cannot be listed or deleted.

  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of QCF- panels, that use the       *
  *                 panels to view/delete OTMA messages and have *
  *                 longer than 8 bytes OTMA TMEMEBER names in   *
  *                 the systems.                                 *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: APAR PK34315/UK19671 added support for  *
  *                      messages with longer than 8 bytes       *
  *                      TMEMEBER names for function 2.FILTER.   *
  *                      This APAR adds the same funcionality to *
  *                      1.LIST menu option for QCF panels. The  *
  *                      change is done in differente way - with *
  *                      function 2.FILTER QCF/IMS executes      *
  *                      BROWSE operation and passes back the    *
  *                      messages- the TMEMBER destination can   *
  *                      be built and displayed using the        *
  *                      messages prefix. Function 1.LIST        *
  *                      executes QUERY function for messages    *
  *                      queues and returns back only the list   *
  *                      of destinations and messages counters-  *
  *                      the destination fields contain only 8   *
  *                      bytes from TMEMEBER name and  the full  *
  *                      destination name can not built by       *
  *                      QCF.All next operation ( delete, list , *
  *                      copy messages ) use these 8 bytes in    *
  *                      INCLUDE statements- and  TMEMBER names  *
  *                      that are longer than 8 bytes are        *
  *                      rejected. This APAR builds INCLUDES     *
  *                      adding a '*' at the end of TMEMBER      *
  *                      name- thus all destination starting     *
  *                      with the 8 bytes can be included in the *
  *                      selection.                              *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The panel's program have been changed to add an '*' at the end
  of TMEMEBR names longer than 7 bytes for function 1.LIST- all
  messages with the same starting 8 bytes of TMEMEBER names are
  included in the selection - so next operations such as
  list/delete/copy messages can be performed from option 1.LIST.
  

Problem conclusion

• The programs have been changed to perform delete/list/copy
  messages from option 1.LISt for messages with TMEMEBER names
  longer than 8.
