Error description

  • Customer changes a tablespace from segmented to simple and
    Object Compare runs rc=0 but it Drops the tablespace and a view.
    The drop of the view is unnecessary because it was dropped
    implicitly when the tablespace was dropped.

    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 Object Comparison Tool, who     *
    *                 compare the same Tablespace using source     *
    *                 and target DDL, may be affected.             *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A tablespace is  changed from segmented *
    *                      to simple and  Object Compare runs RC=0 *
    *                      but it drops the tablespace and a view. *
    *                      The  drop  of the view  is  unnecessary *
    *                      because  it is  dropped implicitly when *
    *                      the tablespace is  dropped.             *

    *                      Comparing  the  same  tablespace  using *
    *                      same  source/target  DDL  with the only *
    *                      difference  in   the  tablespace  being *
    *                      source has 'segsize 64' and also a view *
    *                      showing a difference, the GOC run gives *
    *                      RC=0; however, there  is  a drop of the *
    *                      tablespace  and  of  the view. The Drop *
    *                      View  is   unnecessary   since  it   is *
    *                      implicitly dropped  when the tablespace *
    *                      is  dropped.                            *

    *                      Changes  file  occurs    when  View  is *
    *                      dropped  implicitly   by  dropping  the *
