APAR status

Error description

  • The Transaction Exception Report w/Exception Set is reporting
    transactions that are not exceptions.  This was found to occur
    when an EOF marker (*** EOF ***) is used and the End of File
    marker is not being accepted, therefore causing the lines past
    the marker to be utilized.
    

Local fix

  • Create a fresh Expectation Set with just *DEFAULT and use that.
    Do not use the *** EOF *** marker.

Problem conclusion

  • The EOF marker is now being accepted correctly and the
    Transaction Exception Report correctly reports exceptions.
