PK33855: SQLCODE104 USING UR LINE COMMAND FROM PANEL ADB21T

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool, using UR line command to update
  runstats statistics from panel adb21t fails with sqlcode104
  -104 sqlcoden104 . Error messages appear similar to:

Local fix

• Customer found changing &runstats to &sysibm in the following
  statement resolved the issue:

  to
   FROM &db2alocp.&sysibm..SYSTABLES C &adbnl +
  .
  Line 1237 in customer's level of panel adb21t.
  

Problem summary

  Creator for the view on  SYSTABLES was not set, leading to a
  syntax error. ADB21TUR should set creator if needed,and test
  for existence of RUNSTATS.SYSTABLES view.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed.  Panel ADB21TUR will issue message
  ADB317 if the RUNSTATS.SYSTABLES  view does not exist; this is
  consistent with other invocations of the UR command (i.e, from
  ADB21X). In addition, NPAGES is removed from ADB21TUR, as it's
  not needed.
