  • The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB2MEX 'DB2 Index Space
Estimator' gives incorrect / invalid results for non-unique
partitioning index.
Examples: Field 'Key length' reports decimal values and
'DASD estimates:' are too small.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The space calculation is using          *
*                      FULLKEYCARD from SYSIBM.SYSINDEXPART    *
*                      for each part, should be using          *
*                      FULLKEYCARDF.  Displaying a decimal     *
*                      value for the key length when it        *
*                      should be numeric only.                 *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
Modified the panel ADB2MEXG to fetch FULLKEYCARDF and modified
exec ADB2MEX to discard AVGKEYLEN if the value is zero.
