Error description

  • When using FASTUNLOAD syntax the LOAD statements generated by
an HPU UNLOAD can be incorrect. For example, a constant 'C'
should generate a VARCHAR(1) while constant C'C' should generate
    a CHAR(1). The problem is that 'C' generates CHAR(1). PB 8415
    Additional Symptoms:
    1. MsgINZU168E for column defined DEC(6,6) with default 0
       PB 8439
    2. Messages IKJnnnn don't appear in case of dynamic allocation
       error causing abend U1004.
       PB 8293

    ****************************************************************
    - Module inzctrl was changed to generate a correct VARCHAR
description on the LOAD sysin in the above descibed case.
    1. Module infcnv00 was changed to accept a default value of 0
    for a decimal(n,n) column.
    2. Not a bug.

Problem conclusion

  • APPLY the PTF.
