  * USERS AFFECTED: Users  of DB2  Admin Tool attempting to      *
  *                 alter a table with Parallel Unload/Load      *
  *                 set to yes.                                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Rather than using the "Tape Unit"       *
  *                      value specified  on  the BP panel       *
  *                      when  allocating LOAD  data  sets       *
  *                      for Parallel  Unload/Load,  these       *
  *                      data sets  are  allocated on  the       *
  *                      operating  system's  default unit       *
  *                      (for example SYSDA) .                   *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

  The "Tape Unit" value  specified on the BP panel is ignored in
  the generation of the LOAD data sets dynamically allocated for
  template  processing when Parallel  Unload/Load  is set to yes
  because no "UNIT( . . . )" parameter is specified in the ALLOC
  statement built by ADB27PAL.
  

Problem conclusion

• When  altering a table with Parallel  Unload/Load set to yes and
  it has been determined that the "Tape Unit" will be used for the
  unloaded records,the value of  "Tape Unit" is passed to ADB27AC,
  which in turn  passes it to ADB27PAL so that this exec can build
  its ALLOC statements with the UNIT( . . . ) parameter.
