• The DB2 Object Comparision APPLY step fails with a message:
  DSNT408I SQLCODE = -626 THE ALTER STATEMENT IS NOT EXECUTABLE
  BECAUSE THE PAGE SET IS NOT STOPPED as the preceding -STO
  command failed with a message:
  DSN9002I  #DSN8- UNBALANCED PARENTHESES WERE FOUND FOLLOWING
  KEYWORD 'PART'

  *                      As  ADBTEP2 attempts to issue the ALTER *
  *                      statement  and  if SQLCODE -626 occurs, *
  *                      ADBTEP2  dynamically  stops  the object *
  *                      and re-issues the ALTER statement. When *
  *                      many partitions are involved,  the stop *
  *                      statement  may  be  built  incorrectly, *
  *                      causing message  DSN9002I to be issued. *

  *                      WERE FOUND FOLLOWING KEYWORD 'PART')    *

  *                      The  statement  buffer  can be exceeded *
  *                      when many partitions are involved.  The *
  *                      code  has  been  fixed to stop distinct *
  *                      objects   or  a  range  of  objects  to *
  *                      shorten  the length of the command, and *
  *                      to  issue  multiple  commands  when the *
  *                      full set exceeds the command length.    *
