**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM IMS High Performance Load * * for z/OS Version 2 Release 1 (FMID=H1IM210) * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HP LOAD ABENDS S138 when both OADSPR=Y * * and HPIO=N are specified. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** HP Load ABENDS138 when both OADSPR=Y and HPIO=N are specified. In this condition, HP LOAD dynamically allocates an OVERFLOW data set with DALRELS option. The ABENDS138 occurs when HP Load attempts to release unused space of the OVERFLOW data set.
Problem conclusion
The module HPSROVIO has been modified to allocate OVERFLOW data set without DALRELS.
