Error description

  • In DBD analyze step, FABPANAL does not create/update the

Incorrect members are created in the DBDEFCTL data set when all
of the following conditions are satisfied:
     - DBDEFCTL= is specified in the PROCCTL data set of DBD
       Analysis Program step
     - APAR PK11662 is applied

The following errors occur when incorrect members are used in
the Image Copy or HASH Evaluation Program step:

     - HDPC gets ABEND0C4
     - HDPC erroneously issues MSGFABP4019E and ABENDU4019

CAUTION !
You need to recreate correct members in the DBDEFCTL data
set by running DBD Analysis Program (FABPANAL) after you
have applied this APAR.

Problem conclusion

  • The module FABPANAL has been fixed to create a DBDEFCTL member
    correctly when DBDEFCTL= is specified.
