APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • RECOVERY plan for an object with no IMAGE COPYs first generated
an SQL DROP DATABASE followed by a -START for the now DROPped
DATABASE.  This will fail of course and msgMSGDSNT301I rc12 is
issued.  This JCL generated is incorrect and the RECOVERY will
fail.  If the JCL is changed by the use to remove the DROP, the
RECOVERY plan will succeed.

Local fix

  • Change the generated JCL removing the DROP DATABASE.
