Problem conclusion
The internal threshold for the CPU usage of the subtask preparing the performance data for the PE Workstation Client is increased to allow higher CPU consumption for the maximum supported autorefresh rate, which is once per second. When CPU usage for a subtask of DB2 PE exceeds the internal limit all internal traces are started to capture a possible loop condition. When the CPU usage thereafter gets back to normal usage conditions the traces are automatically switched off. When the high CPU usage condition persists a dump is taken in addition to the traces to preserve data for analysis. After about 10 minutes of consecutive detection of high CPU conditions the causing subtask will be terminated and restarted.
