APAR status

Error description

• BTS deletes non-blank data in column 71 on BTSIN DD if there is
  shift-in X'0F' in column 70.

  BTS ignores a character in column 71 under the following BTSIN
  condition;
   - an EGCS or a SP specification is specified
   - there is shift-in X'0F' in column 70 and the first character
     of the next line is shift-out X'0E'
   - BTS unformatted mode.
  BTSRDR00 should not ignore a character in column 71 in
  unformatted mode even if there is shift-in X'0F' in column 70.
  

Problem conclusion

• BTSRDR00 is modified to bypass the logic that ignores character
  in column 71 if there is shift-in X'0F' in column 70 in
  unformatted mode.
  
  The IMS BTS User's Guide and Reference ( SC18-7149-01 )
  will be updated with following changes:
  
  Chapter 4. Operations Information
  4.6 Formatted and unformatted modes
  <<The third paragraph is modified.>>
  The IMS /FORMAT command may be used to format the screen image.
  A /FORMAT command should be entered only while the 3270 is in
  formatted mode; otherwise, the results are unpredictable.
