* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Online Data Extract (ODE) supports a    *
*                      vendor product compression routine.     *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
****************************************************************
ODE gets S0C4 abend at a call of a vendor's edit/compression
routine that uses the user-reserved-word of CMPC block because
ODE does not clear the field in init call.

  • This APAR provides the following 2 modification.
1. The macro FPXBLSB0 has been modified to set the user-reserve-
   d-word of CMPC block to binary zero in init call.
2. The macro FPXTERM0 has been modified for HPIC
   edit/compression process cosmetic change.
