Error description

  • Steps:
OS: English Windows XP SP1
1. Windows Start icon> Control Panel> Regional and Language
Options > Change Regional Options: Standard and Formats to
"Spanish (Chile)".
2. Create a proposal.
2. Create several tasks and assign profiles to these tasks.
3. Run a pivot > Resource Management menu > Resource Supply and
Demand pivot
4.  The message: Unhandled exception: EDatabaseError - '168,00'
is not a valid floating point value for field
'fldRESOURCE_CALENDAR' pops up.

Comment:
This defect will also related German and other languages as
well. If the decimal and 000 separator is not same as US
standard.

Local fix

  • Change Standards and Formats option to English.
