PK27878: PANEL ADB2ZBA8 'ALTER BUFFERPOOL' UPDATES ALL FIELDS EXCEPT VPXPSEQT NOT CHANGED FIELDS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool panel ADB2ZBA8 'Alter Buffer Pool'
  creates a DB2 ALTER statement which includes all of the fields
  displayed on the panel rather than only the changed fields. The
  exception to this is field VPXPSEQT which is never used.
  Additional search args:

  Additional symptoms:
  msg ' Invalid buffer pool ' when trying to alter bp32k9
  

Local fix

• Using the PROMPT function edit the ALTER statement to remove
  unwanted fields and add VPXPSEQT as needed.

  For msg ' Invalid buffer pool ' remove extraneous ) in line
  70 of panel adb2zba8 . Change:
    BP32K5,BP32K6,BP32K7,BP32K8,BP32K9)'
  to:
    BP32K5,BP32K6,BP32K7,BP32K8,BP32K9'
